Zoë is officially six-years-old, though some days, I think she’s about thirteen. Anyway, that’s another story. When she woke up on the morning of her birthday, I asked her if she felt six-years-old? Her answer was as simply, “YES”.
I asked her if anything has changed since yesterday, when she was still five-years-old. To be honest, [...]

The quality or state of being incompetent; want of physical, intellectual, or moral ability; insufficiency; inadequacy; as, the incompetency of a child hard labor, or of an idiot for intellectual efforts. “Some inherent incompetency.”
Some days, I’m surrounded by it. That’s all I have to say about that.

Yesterday was an exciting day for us. Anna and I went down to Watkins Savings Bank and signed all the papers for our construction loan, and finalized the paperwork for the new lot on which we are about to build. Did I say exciting? How about nerve wrecking and stressful, with a hint of excitement.
I haven’t [...]

Zoë started gymnastics about 6 weeks ago at CRAG Gymnastics. We were trying to find a summer activity that would keep her active, and she didn’t want to play soccer or tee-ball this year. So after a little research, she decided to try her had at gymnastics.
I’d like to say she took to it like [...]

The buyers have agreed to our terms in relation to the home inspection repairs. We agree to fix everything on their list with the exception of one window with a bad seal. With any luck, we’ll have all the other minor repairs completed w/in a week.
Our next hurdle is the radon test. Without notice, the [...]
